iPad 7th, 8th & 9th gen repair in Culver City.
These are the standard 10.2-inch iPads sold in enormous numbers to families and schools, and they are the cheapest iPad screen repair we do. The reason is technical: the display is not laminated, so the glass touch layer sits separately above the LCD and can be replaced on its own without touching the panel underneath.

What usually goes wrong on this one
Cracked glass with a display that still works perfectly is the classic presentation on these. Because the layers are separate, that is a digitizer-only job rather than a full assembly replacement.

iPad 7th, 8th & 9th gen questions

Yes, and this is the most common repair we do on this model. The touch layer is replaced and the display underneath is untouched.
