MacBook Pro 13" M1 / M2 repair in Culver City.
The 13-inch Pro is the odd one in the Apple Silicon line: it kept the Touch Bar after the 14 and 16-inch models dropped it, and unlike the Air it has an active cooling fan. That fan lets it hold high performance for longer, but it also gives it a moving part that collects dust.
MacBook Pro 13" M1 / M2 repair prices
Prices for this model specifically, not a starting figure from a cheaper MacBook. Excludes CA sales tax; final price confirmed after a free in-store diagnostic.
What usually goes wrong on this one
Because it has a fan, this model does accumulate dust in the intake over time, which shows up as noise or heat under load. Otherwise it is screens and batteries, same as the rest of the Apple Silicon range.
Not sure that's your model?
A 13-inch Pro with a Touch Bar strip above the keyboard, two USB-C ports, and no MagSafe. The underside reads A2338 — the same case was used for both the M1 and M2 versions.
MacBook Pro 13" M1 / M2 questions
It is part of the top case assembly rather than a separate part, so it is quoted with the keyboard. Bring it in and we will confirm exactly what your fault needs.
Often it is dust rather than a failing fan. That is worth diagnosing before replacing anything — the free diagnostic will tell us which it is.
